Jennifer Gladen is a children's writer. She graduated from a local Catholic high school and went on to a local college. She earned a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and taught for a few years before having her three children.
When her second child was born, Jennifer put her teaching career on hold. Her newborn was diagnosed with a rare liver disease which would require a liver transplant in the future. A few years later she had a son, who also was born with medical problems.
When Jennifer is not tending to her children’s needs, she can be found writing for children.
Her recent stories, articles and poems appeared in Stories For Children.
